David Tedman to Pitch Brightkit
David Tedman is a partner and the operations manager at Invoke, an interactive agency in Vancouver. Starting out as a design and Web development shop, Invoke began creating tools for agencies to incorporate the power of social media in 2006.
In late 2008, Invoke launched its latest product, BrightKit. BrightKit, as quoted by Mashable; “is the ultimate Twitter toolkit.”
BrightKit was originally designed for agencies who manage multiple twitter accounts for their clients. It quickly became popular with agencies, but also news organizations, music labels, retail companies, and any business managing multiple twitter channels. Marketing BrightKit almost exclusively on twitter, it currently has almost 5000 users.
David has over 8 years experience managing various interactive and media projects, and has been a partner with Invoke since 2006. David received an Interactive Media degree from Vancouver Film School in 2002, after which he founded Novare Res, a multi-disciplinary design company, which eventually merged with Invoke in 2006. He speaks one language (well), picked the school of rock instead, didn’t write two New York Times bestsellers, and spends the rest of his time working with the most talented people two blocks east of Gastown.
